The plastination process preserves your body and allows a large degree of flexibility. Dr von Hagens has shown plastinated cadavers to millions at his controversial ‘Body Worlds’ exhibit where the corpses can be seen frozen in time – he poses them reclining, running and even playing basketball. Don’t worry about looking like a life-size Barbie® corpse though. The bodies are stripped of skin so you can see the awesome details of human anatomy … even your charcoal lungs if you’ve spent the last half century puffing with the Marlboro Man.
